The Citizen Hotel
Providing soon-to-be-couples with a unique combination of historic charm and sleek modern amenities, The Citizen Hotel brings a new kind of luxury wedding venue to downtown Sacramento. The elegant 1st floor Plaza Park Ballroom has 25 foot high ceilings, crystal chandeliers, windows letting in natural light and is a marvelous venue for your ceremony up 120 guests, or cocktail hour up to 180. The Scandal Lounge, located on the 1st floor mezzanine, is the cocktail hour venue of choice with under 120 guests! We like the sound of ALL this. The Scandal Lounge is a must see. The Crocker Art Museum
While The Crocker is currently not booking for the rest of 2021, they have definite plans to start actively booking in 2022. So, get on it!

The Crocker Art Museum!
The Crocker Art Museum is a stunning wedding venue located in Sacramento, California. This beautiful building offers a superb mix between vintage and modern that caters to distinguished tastes and those who seek extravagant surroundings. The museum features local and international art pieces, allowing visitors to have a gander at gorgeous and interesting collections.
This mansion began its current life in 1868 when Judge Edwin B. Crocker bought the building. The home was then renovated by architect Seth Babson, who added on a gallery building to accommodate Crocker's collection. The work on the mansion was completed in 1872, and the home took on the identity of Crocker Art Museum in 1978. It is not listed as a landmark and is registered with the National Register of Historic Places. The Teel Family Pavilion finished construction in 2010, allowing for an alternative space where the public enjoys exhibitions, the Gerald Hansen Library, Tot Land, and the Art Education Resource Room.

Crocker Art Museum is pleased to host couples and their guests in the Historic Ballroom, the Main Courtyard, Friedman Court, or E. Kendell Davis Courtyard. Each space has its own unique qualities and offers different environments that couples are able to choose from. From the opulence of the Historic Ballroom, complete with moldings and infintely ornate details, to the modern aesthetic of Friedman Court, boasting lofty ceilings and black marble floors, this venue is poised to host a spectacular event.

The event spaces are able to hold parties for a multitude of events, and they offer setup, cleanup, WiFi, and the encouragement to hire outside vendors in addition to planners/coordinators with every booking.
The Barn at Second Wind
One of the best things about Second Wind is the fact that it is located just a 15 minute drive south of Sacramento, very near the hamlet of Freeport, close to a golf course, and situated along the Sacramento River. Finding an astounding barn venue so close to downtown Sacramento, in a rural setting with singing birds, fields of spring blooming mustard, hops and grapes, and feeling miles away from civilization is amazing!
Six acres located along the Delta. Featuring a rustic barn, mature oak trees, grassy area and outdoor fire pit. The real focal piece within the barn is the gorgeous 1940’s chandelier that joins two more wrought iron lanterns, and the barn even has overhead ceiling fans for air circulation.
